I have recieved many years of training from Rob and has been extremely helpful from training me from a beginner to an advanced guitarist. Rob not only helps you to learn songs, but will also teach the theory and will also teach you a wide variety a techniques, from 12 bar blues to advanced soloing techniques.

I have had guitar lessons for three/four years from Robbie. I started taking lessons in a group class taught by Robbie at the age of 12 or 13. the lessons began by learning about the basics of guitar playing and started being taught songs. since then ive taken private guitar lessons from Robbie and my playing has improved massively. from learning the basics of guitar playing to the intricate parts of perfecting my own style, Robbie has guided me through learning to play guitar. Call it a mid life crisis but having been a big music fan all my life I decided in my 50’s that it was time to learn the electric guitar. Rob was recommended by a music shop in Newcastle and I have been a pupil of his now for just over 2 years. He is an excellent teacher, with a nice friendly manner and the patience of a saint but he knows when to make you apply yourself to help improve your playing. His ability to give you a good grounding and provide chord sequences you can follow, for tunes you recognise, is superb.
